About Debbie Su
Debbie is the third daughter of a pastor, and grew up in the provincial city of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. A voracious reader, she grew up in the untamed surroundings of the countryside which heavily influenced her as a fantasy writer. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Design at Ateneo de Manila University and worked in marketing until she saved enough money to move to Los Angeles and pursue film.
In LA she took classes at Los Angeles City College and went on to write and direct short films that entered film festivals and introduced her to other likeminded filmmakers. She is currently the producer and director of David Zucker's MasterCrash course on spoof comedy. Her next goals include completing her first fantasy feature, and to work in the industry as a writer and director who uplifts marginalized experiences.
